About Kathy

Kathy is a wellness activist and author with a focus on healthy living and conscious eating. Her latest book, THE LEAN: A Revolutionary (and Simple!) 30-Day Plan for Healthy, Lasting Weight Loss, was an instant New York Times bestseller, as were three of her previous books—Veganist, Quantum Wellness, and The One. Her forthcoming work, The Book of VeganISH, debuts in Fall of 2016.

Kathy promotes a body/mind/soul approach to health and happiness, and centers her work around a plant-based diet for physical, environmental, and ethical reasons. She believes in “leaning in" to change and cites the proven benefits of “progress, not perfection”.
